Sarah is a multi-talented presenter, having presented on TV for over 5 years, radio for over 11 years and at an abundance of live events. She’s equally at home in front of a TV camera, behind a mic in a radio studio or in front of an audience of 10 to 10,000 people. Her career in entertainment started at Butlins when at the ripe old age of 18 she became old enough to be a Redcoat. It was there she first had a microphone thrust in her hand and was told “Right, you’re on in 5 minutes”. She had to present the mini Tarzan and Jane competition in front of about 500 screaming kids with adults and the only on-stage help she had was a pig and a cat (of the costumed character variety). It was here she realised how much she loved the challenge and spontaneity that presenting can bring!
Sarah’s first radio job was broadcasting live to the shoppers in the world famous toy store Hamleys. From talking about games and toys she went on to talk about more grown-up things on FM and national DAB stations across the UK, where she has presented her own shows on Century FM, Ocean FM, Mercury FM, Heat Radio and KMFM to name but a few. Whilst presenting the overnight show on Ocean FM she landed a job at Price Drop TV and from working all night she used to drive up to London to present all day! TV, radio and live event presenting have since run alongside each other.
Her TV credits include: Tricky TV for CITV, Wedding TV, Life TV, continuity announcing for ITV’s Men and Motors channel, Price Drop TV, Big Game TV and a behind the scenes documentary for the A1 Grand Prix. Event credits include: Presenting numerous running events for Cancer Research UK, various sporting events (snooker, baseball, triathlon, kick-boxing championships), motor shows, charity balls, fashion shows and the Cunard Queen Mary 2 launch on Southampton docks. Also an accomplished interviewer, Sarah has interviewed various music artistes, sporting stars and celebrities including: Robbie Williams, The Feeling, Sugababes, Fatboy slim, Emma Bunton, Bobby Zamora, to name but a few. With plenty of live TV and radio presenting experience under her belt, she can think on her feet and is great at interacting with viewers and listeners. She enjoys every aspect of presenting and loves new challenges. Her ideal job would be to present a travel documentary and experience the life and culture of other people and places. When not presenting you can catch her singing in a Soul/disco band at weddings, corporate events and parties. More recently she has been doing some modelling for parenting books and magazines, as she has become the proud mum of a baby girl! How does she manage it all? With a helping hand from a great set of grandparents!! |
