Diane has worked in Theater, Televison and Radio but she is probably still best remembered as Jet, the most popular and successful gladiator for ITV's Gladiators show. Listen to Diane on BBC Tees every weekday morning between 10am and 1pm. As a child she was in the British Gymnastic Squad, Junior North of England Champion for a number of years. She left for London at a the age of 16 where she was accepted for her professional training in Dance, Choreography, Performing Arts and Production. She went on to perform and be creatively involved with many productions across the board and was also Director of Visualise Enterprise Ltd. producing dvds, and programmes for TV.
As a Therapist, Teacher, and Trainer Diane has amassed her skills, knowledge and experinces to formulate a thorough and proactive way forward for her work with groups and individuals. Formerly a Health and Fitness professional Diane is a MBACP as a Clarckson Integrative Counsellor/psychotherapist. Diane went on to add more insights and tools to become a certified trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming ( NLP). She works both traditionally and with her own unique blend of modalites with her company of Core Equilibrium ltd. Offering integrated, fun and easy to understand perspectives on health, fitness and well- being. Clients and participants get to learn about the science and biology behind our systems and why we are the way we are at times. Her delivery is accessible and grounded with the impact of inertia for change. Her work in this field started when she was an NHS staff support Counsellor. The founding programme was devised to encourage staff who are at the front line of care for others to re-align and balance their own care for themselves. This programme is now called the Core Philosophy Programme. The Core Philosophy Programme includes Psychology, philosophy, science of the mind, nutrition and activity are all included. These programmes are now run in organisations, further and higher Education and compliment the Commission for Health Improvement (CHI) and its objectives Her history includes a few years as a school teacher (Key stages 3 and 4) and has meant that she holds a keen and informed dimension to her work with enthusiasm for further learning and research into the field of the change and education. Most notably Diane also has a varied background in Theatre, Television and Radio when her profile was raised following a period of years as a Gladiator called Jet for ITV’s popular Gladiators show. Occaisionally she still works in the media as a contributor on the Trisha Goddard Show for Channel 5 as a therapist and still is a contributor to radio, publications and TV. She teaches Pilates and runs her Core Philosophy seminars while being based in Manchester and is also a Trainer for Fitness Professionals. Diane is a genuine warm and refreshing individual to meet and work with. Conscientious and considerate she works in a number of different models and methods within her therapeutic, fitness and health fields.
