Clare Woodling
Clare can currently be heard on The Coast (the new name for Original 106) .

Clare is 28 years old and has attended La Sorbonne in Paris where she gained a ‘Dîplome de la langue et de la civilisation Française’. After which she was at Durham University and came out with a BA Hons (2:1) in Philosophy and then went on to The London School of Economics and Political Science to graduate with a MSc with merit in philosophy, policy and social value, topped off with a one year course at The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts.

Clare’s first radio experience came about after a short stint with The Dimbleby Newspaper Group at Radio Jackie 107.8FM, where she worked as a reporter. From there she went on to present Travel Bulletins for Trafficlink, research and write for BBC Radio Five Live and present Weather and produce the afternoon show for BBC Radio Solent.

Clare has also worked as a reporter at BBC Southern Counties Radio and just last spring presented the early show for BBC Radio Sheffield. Clare recently completed her post-graduate Broadcast Journalism course at City University and is now the new voice reading news on breakfast at The Coast.

An Accomplished skier, Clare also loves to make jewelry.
